Supervisor

As a PhD-candidate you need a supervisor. According to Dutch law the first supervisor needs to be a professor at a Dutch university. A professor will not take just any PhD-candidate. Your research has to contribute to the research programme with which he/she is affiliated and should be related to his or her field.
