Maarten van Ham is Professor of Urban Renewal and head of the department of Neighbourhood Change and Housing at OTB Research Insitute for the Built Environment, Faculty of Architecture. Maarten is a population geographer with a background in economic and urban geography.
Research interests: Population/Urban/Economic Geography: residential mobility and migration; neighbourhood effects; urban and neighbourhood change; segregation; housing market behaviour and housing choice; population and household change; geography of labour markets; spatial mismatch of workers and employment opportunities.
